Algarve Blog is now on Facebook

“The thing that we are trying to do at facebook is just help people connect and communicate more efficiently” Mark Zuckerberg

We’ve finally succumbed! Our blog seems to be very well liked – so we thought we would expand upon that and start a Facebook page too. So if you are on Facebook – come on over – say hello – and ‘Like’ us to make sure you don’t miss out!

Click the image below and you can go straight to our new page:

Algarve Blog Facebook screenshot We will be sharing lots of links, hints, tips and updates about life here in the Algarve for you. Often there are things that we find that we would like to share with you but they don’t really make up a blog post – so now we are pleased to have a platform that we can share more information with you.

Yesterday we posted up the link to the new October ‘What’s on’ guide from the Algarve Tourism Board  Click the picture below to read this guide:

And if there are things that you would like us to find out about – just ask! Facebook may have many faults – but it is a great way to build a community and share information – so please come over and join us! Just click the button below and we’ll see you there…

I realized the same thing as well. That a Facebook page offers you a much better platform to share information and connect with your readers. I’ve been working on mine as well and was going to introduce it on a post too. Apparently the Facebook ads are amazing as a friend of mine increased her likes by 400 in a week. Thanks for sharing!
